OUR MISSION STATEMENT CAN BE BOILED DOWN TO THESE THREE PHRASES:
Our goal is to give athletes all the tools they need to become the best athletes they can be. We coach based off of the principle "athletes won't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." The more the athlete trusts you, the harder they will work for you. We desire to build a relationship with every single athlete. We want to be more than just their strength and conditioning coach.
Our desire is to teach athletes to use their God-given talents and skills to the best of their abilities. We build each program specific to the individual (or group/team). It is all catered around what the athletes' goals are, their sport(s), and what we as the coaches see they need improvement on. No athlete was created the same, so no athlete should have the same exact training program. H.E.A.T uses elite training and techniques that will make athletes stand out on and off the field. We can't count ourselves successful unless the athletes are successful. That is why we train, and that is why we always bring the H.E.A.T.
"When coaches are engaged and proactive, athletes and teams perform at higher levels. The bonds you form with your athletes can have a tremendous impact: athletes view the relationship with their coach as the top factor in their success. Since sport helps athletes gain important life skills, this influence often extends far beyond the field of play"-USA Weightlifting
how we got started
Kyle started Henley Elite Athlete Training in 2012 to continue his passion in assisting athletes to reach their best potential. Kyle graduated from West Chester University with a B.S. in Exercise Science with a focus on sports performance. He spent time working in the fitness industry, mostly working with athletes, before feeling led to start H.E.A.T. Kyle feels strongly that each athlete is unique in his/her training methods and type of athlete he or she is. He finds it important to train/treat each athlete as fitting for that person, no two athletes are created equal. Kyle is married to his wonderful wife Christine. They have three children, Adalyn, Malachi (Ky), and Ezekiel! Kyle enjoys anything sports related, and he really enjoys a good workout! If you would like to get to know Kyle more, stop in and say hi, or send him an email! He'd love to chat with you!
"the moment we let our accomplishments blind us to our weakness is the moment we fail-we are only as successful as we are humble."
In times of chaos or uncertainty there is a special breed of athlete. An ELITE breed, ready for all circumstances; What looks like a common athlete with an uncommon desire to succeed. I am that athlete. My loyalty to my team is beyond recognizable. I humbly serve as a teammate, always ready for when they call my number. I do not flaunt my work, nor seek recognition for my actions. I know that the moment we let our accomplishments blind us to our weakness is the moment we fail. We are only as successful as we are humble.
I serve with honor on the field, at school, in the ring, on the court, and in my home. The ability to control my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other athletes. Uncompromising integrity is my standard. My character and honor are dependable. My word is my bond. I expect to lead and be led. When necessary I will take charge, lead my teammates and reach our goals. I lead by example in all situations. I persevere and thrive on pressure. My team expects me to be physically and mentally stronger than my opponents. If knocked down, I will get back up-every time. I will draw on every remaining ounce of strength to protect my teammates and to accomplish our goals. I will not give up.
I demand discipline. I expect innovation. I will be unpredictable on the field and expect the unexpected. The success of my teammates and the success of our team depend on me- my technical skill, my proficiency and my attention to detail. My training is never complete. I train my hardest for the possibility that someone may be training harder. I play to win and to serve. The action of my commitments will be persistent and guided by the character I strive to attain. I will not quit. I will not fail. And I will always bring the H.E.A.T.
